Gimp 2.6.11 on Mac OSX without X [en]

I really like Gimp, but having to use X to run it on OSX really pisses me off!

(but maybe my attempt will only prove that’s it’s the only reliable way to run it)

Using jhbuild, gtk-osx and a few tricks, I managed to have a working Gimp 2.6.11 without having to use X.

Some things are not working yet (a freeze when opening files using "recent files", a png error message, and keyboard shortcuts not working) but the essential seems to be ok.

But hey, I’m working on it since yesterday only, and ... maybe I’ll be to lazy to go on improving it.

But yet, you can download it and start playing with it.

Have a lot of fun. Or not.
